Well. NOT QUITE !!

I said there was going to be a surprise gift for the winner. Well, here it is:

As soon as she saw the winning entry, my Wife Charla made a bracelet to go with the Pen.
She chose black pearls and black mother of pearl. She figured the pebbly texture of the mother of pearl would nicely echo the appearance of the Burl.
And black would complilment the accents in the pen hardware and trim.

Hope you like it Angela.!

Wow! I got my package in the mail yesterday and thought that it was the total prize package, so was very surprised to see the posting about the bracelet. Such a nice prize! The package I got yesterday had some great blanks in it, along with a laser inlay kit and some cash, which is always handy, but this additional prize will be worn with pride!

Looks like it happened "pass-out: A package arrived today from Texas full of amazing blanks!! Thank-you Charles and anyone else who may have had their hand in it. By the way, is anyone missing $15? I'm guessing the money was in case I had to pay duty on the package??

I'm off the the shop to turn some pens, I'll post the pics.

Charles,

Kailyn got her prize box and she was VERY excited. The blanks were very nice and she really was excited about the money. She had been saving up money to get her ears pierced and the prize money put her over the top! She was so surprised. Thanks again for this contest. It started my daughter down a slippery path that I fear she will never return from. :salesman-smile:

I got my additional prize package that came from Adolph and his wife, when I got back into town after being gone for a trip. Wow! What a beautiful bracelet, and Adolph even included a pen he made! I feel quite honored!
