Birthday Bash Pen Swap

Re: Birthday Bash Pen Swap

I was thinking the 1st of October. I will post the partners right after the 4th of July and by the time the stuff is sent to the partner. Which I figure will take approx. 3 weeks. Then I am thinking that would give 2 months to turn the pens and have the pens to your partner. I am giving some lead way for our out of country trade partners for shipping either there or back.

You will need to send your swap partner the following:

1. Pen kit of your choice
2. Bushings to fit the kit you sent
3. Drill bit to fit the kit you sent

I've made a suggestion to my swap partner Nick, if he let's me know what kit he is forwarding to me, in the interest of minimizing his expense, I will let him know whether it is necessary for him to send drill bits and bushings to me. I have done many different kits and I have a very large selection of bits and bushings. There's no need for him to duplicate what I already have!

Good idea or not?

Sounds like a good idea. My partner and I have done the same thing. I knew that this group would be able to work out any details to make things smoothe. I just put the rules up to start with so there would be no confusion. Good Idea.

Here is a picture of the BEAUTIFUL Black Ash Burl Cigar Pen sent to me by Austin. The ShellaWax finish on this pen really shines. This pen will take it's place standing along side other swap pens I have received. It's a beauty and if that weren't enough, look at the pile of blanks he sent. I definitely got the better deal out of this swap! Thanks Austin! :you-rock-1:

Thank you Sir for posting that picture, that is indeed the one, although the picture doesn't do it justice. It's a beautiful pen, and I got a load of blanks too! :dancing:

Now I just need to get a camera, that along with the lessons being offered I'll be set!

Thanks again,

Austin
