New to Pen Tunring

Postby ADXGlock » Thu Jul 29, 2010 12:26 am

Hey everyone,

I am VERY new to pen turning. I took a class on pen turning at a local WoodCraft store and really had a great time. So much so, that I went and picked up all of the tools I needed to get started. In the class I made a Slim pen with Walnut. I really liked the way it turned out. My equipment should be here in the next few days and I have a lot to learn. I look forward to becoming a part of the community here and hope to keep learning.

Hear is a kinda fuzzy pic of the pen that I made.

I am a Federal Law Enforcement Officer here in Colorado. I enjoy hunting and fishing as well as woodworking.

Thanks

Welcome from Minnesota. I have family out in Denver so if I ever get out there again maybe we can get together.

Thanks for the warm welcomes everyone. I think I have found a niche. I'm addicted and have made a few and posted them in the showcase. Sounds good johnson.

Thanks,
